Premier 101 Food Center

Premier 101 Food Centre is probably the most popular food court in Kuching that comes to life just after 6.00pm and lingers on until late at night. Here, patrons can choose various delicacies from the 100 stalls that comes in various sizes including several seafood restaurants and specialty eateries in the area.

For first timers, you might go crazy over the food selections that are available here. So, once you are there, you might want to look around first before deciding on the food that you want to indulge in. Song Kheng Hai Food Court

Song Kheng Hai Food Court is among the oldest food court in Jalan Padungan area. Popular for serving an extensive range of local delicacies, this one is a must-go place whenever you are in Kuching. Even though the environment is rather plain and simple (and maybe a bit dirty), but the food served here is simply delicious. Some stalls cater for heavy cuisine, and some are for snacks in between meals.

Among the crowds’ favourites include kuey teow, tomato noodles, kong pia, bamboo coconut juice, fresh coconut, Indian curry with Biryani, Belacan Bee Hoon, Chinese fried rice, and Mee goreng. If you are looking for something light, easy yet unique, this is probably the right place for you.

Siniawan Night Market

Have you ever gone to a night market where it isn’t exactly like a night market but food court instead? Except that it is outdoor, in the beautiful street of Siniawan. Located along the Sarawak river, the hundred-year-old town may be sleepy by day but come nightfall, it pulsates with life.

Visiting this place will give you a great experience in sampling traditional snacks. Here, you can get glutinous rice dumplings, Ang Ku Kueh and Ondeh-Ondeh – malay dumplings rolled in coconut flakes with a palm sugar filling. This place is also well-known for their authentic Hakka origin delicacies. Top Spot Food Court

Top Spot Food Court is the go-to eatery for tourists and anyone who craves for seafood dishes.
